Hi all,
At an office space that is being renovated, we plan to wire up the whole office with CAT6. The cables are all put up. Just the wall plugs need to be installed.
Local shops (here in Nashik) have the following RJ45 female plug that would fit in the wall plate:
(1)

(2)

The strange thing about this RJ45 female plug is that the wires are not correctly color coded. So, I am not sure how the electrician will connect these wires to the internal 8 wires from the CAT6 cable.
My understanding was that it would involve this plug:

this face plate:

and such a punch tool:

I am waiting for the electrician (who apparently has done such office networking in the past) to arrive and get his opinion. But, just in case, if the RJ45 sample plug that I have with me (1 and 2 above) isn't the right thing, then I would like to know where (online or any local shop anywhere in Mumbai) can I buy the right things (3, 4, and 5 above)?
TIA,
Bandu.
Thanks to suggestions from #eternoMind, I visited some other shops locally and it turns out that (1) and (2) above aren't the things that I should be installing. The other plugs and tools (3), (4), and (5) are available locally.
