I need to RMA my 160GB IDE HDD. I registered the product and requested for RMA. Here is the reply I got from them .

The above order number has been issued for the return of the defective product listed below only. This return order is valid for 30 days. You agree not to submit to any products except in conjunction with a justified warranty claim. For example, you shall not send us any counterfeit products, products that we previously lost through theft, products for which warranty coverage has expired or never existed, or products that are not covered by warranty. If you send us any products that are not covered by justified warranty claims, we may retain these products. Seagate reserves its right to exercise all of its legal rights in connection with fraudulent returns.

I will ship the HDD to them and how can I get it back? If they ship it, Do I have to pay the amount? If yes, How to pay it?

You have to pay for one way shipping i.e from your place to chennai, they replace and ship the drive back to you at their own cost.
I prefer doing this instead of going to the local Accel Frontline office, its faster

^Even if you go to the local office, they will ship the product to their head office situated in Chennai. So, it's better to ship it directly to Chennai.
They've shifted their location before a month. Now Accel is situated in Porur.
