I need a cheap basic rugged phone to make calls and send messages with long battery life coupled with very good call clarity/network reception. I want something like the Samsung Marine or the Samsung E2370 explorer. I need a reputed brand. I checked out the iBall floater and it didn't make the cut. Sending messages and making calls are the only functions the phone will have. A torch light would be welcome as well. I would prefer the phone to be water proof and shock resistant. It will used in tandem with my Motorola Defy to handle basic phone based activities when I am on official tours. Please post your suggestions.
