Graphic Cards Samsung 940bw refresh rate problem

I just installed catalyst 7.4 for my 9800pro. I had been using my 940bw at 1440*900 @ 60hz till now. I just realized that my monitor supports 75hz. But unfortunately, every time i use 75hz, and reboot the system, the display just fails. It works fine till i reboot the system :huh:

I looked up for info on google, but couldn't find any. Is there any way out? or should i just leave it at 60hz (will there be any difference between 60 and 75hz?

no need to use 75Hz on a LCD as LCD's work on response times so 60Hz/75Hz will not make any difference

iam using 1280x1024 @ 60Hz on my LCD since a year

u really dont need to mess much with the refresh rates of LCD's.......
pls leave it at 60 @ default......

Thanks guys i guessed that 75 wouldnt make any difference wanted to confirm, just in case i missed something

the manual of lcd says not to mess around with the refresh rates.. as it may lead to hardware damage..so i dont bother..moreover..

it wont matter anyway for lcds..!
