Samsung Alpha , Sony Z3 and Z3 Compact coming to India

Indian smartphone fans are in for a treat this week, as both Samsung and Sony get set to launch their latest offerings in the country. Sony will kick things off by launching the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact on September 25 in a media event in New Delhi. Samsung, meanwhile, is scheduled to launch the Galaxy Alpha on September 27.

I mean seroiusly sony , you may have the best android phone in the market with the best possible color palette ( i surely believe z3c is the best droid i can get) but 46 k is just ridiculous.
Z1c does look a better option at 16k less and almost the same specs.

4.6" is being dubbed as a compact

Sony could have named it something else, taking out the 'compact' suffix from its name. Something like Z3 Beta even. Maybe then its pricing would have made more sense ? Because staring right at it is Sony's own Z1 compact iinm (did Sony got its LED bleeding and camera working fixed?)
46k is seems like a crazy price and maybe its screen dimension has got to do something with it.

^ z3c is same size as z1c. And in todays world i think 127 x 64 (lxw) does qualify as compact.
it also helps that it is almost the same size as an iphone 5c, and a bit bigger then a 5s/5.

With iBend expected to priced upwards of 55k, i only hope sony senses the market mood and drops the price in time for deepavali season.
