Monitors Samsung B530-32inch LCD as Monitor

Guys, do watch quite a few movies from the PC, also some gaming too. As well as this is main PC at home for all the work. The PC is AthlonII-X4-785-4GB DDRIII-4770. ( In addition to laptops for me & my son.)
At present using a 20inch monitor.
Need to upgrade
I want a 24inch- Benq 2420
My son is advocating a Samsung B530-32inch LCD ( he games & watches movies )

Need advice urgently.
Pros & cons of the 32inch LCD as monitor.
 
for movies 32 inch is very good ,

but its really a pain to use a 32 incher as a pc monitor for browsing and other works

my personal opinion
 
depends on what distance are you going to use it. So unless you are going to be seated more than 5-6 ft, then 32" could be possiblly strainful to your eyes.
 
i am using the same model, excellent as of now, provided it is not good for watching the TV, we are yet to have HD channels, but good for watching HD movies through HDMI & mind blowing for games.

What about the 32 inch LCD use as computer monitor ? any experience on it ?
