Samsung Galaxy Pop Help Needed

:D Hi All,

To begin with a short story. My six year old sony erricsson breathed her last a couple of days back. Thus I was forced to buy a new mobile and I settled for the Samsung Galaxy Pop S5570.

Since this is a mobile after 6 years and having never been to keen on the mobile front I am a layman in many things.

My questions

1. Best place to download free themes (and safe not virus infected ones)

2. Best places to look out for new apps.

3. General guidelines and precautions to be taken while doing the same.

for anything else market.

sync with your google account.

keep network off when not in use to save battery. welcome to android world..:-)

^^Nope. Samsung Kies is different. When you open "Gmail" or "Market" etc. on your phone it will ask you for your google credentials. Enter that, then run the "Market" app and install whatever you want from there.
 
Noob questions

1. Can I download a file using my pc broadband and then install it in my samsung galaxy pop ?

2. Should I take a 3g package for my phone ? Does airtel have any good 3g plans ?

3. If I download wallpapers etc (free ones) only I guess airtel will charge me for the data and hence the first question?

4. Any links etc for noobs like me who are first timers to android mobiles. (Hell, all I use dto do with my mobile was make calls)
