Samsung Galaxy R Available in Indian Market

It will be a failure IMHO. Looking at the phone specs -

+ Dual Core

- 5 MP Camera with 720p recording
- Only 8gb Internal memory
- SC-LCD Screen (This might be positive for some, but for the price its not)

The specs I see is something that was already done in single core phones years ago, a la Galaxy S. Other than dual core processor, what does this have to warrant such a heavy price tag????? Come on Samsung, price it at 23k and see how it sells.
 
^^ Exactly. LG Optimus 2X is now easily bought in the market from 19-22k depending on place and discount. I guess Samsung is getting too cocky after S2's smashing success.

Fail pricing by Samsung. And as usual these would suffer in updates.

Oops. I forgot about Galaxy S plus. I seriously do not understand how Samsung can price that thing at 22.5k. You are right, absolute fail from Samsung in pricing department :no:
 
^^ Actually Samsung Galaxy S Plus is also overpriced. Because it is a single core phone and it comes with scorpion processor/Adrenos 205 GPU. While the processor is clocked at 1.4 Ghz, it is still no match for Galaxy S. That thing is still a beast.
 
^^ I wouldn't say Galaxy S has better option than Galaxy R since you are comparing single core to a dual core phone. Dual core will always win. But you are right that Galaxy S is better than option than Galaxy S Plus and Galaxy SL
