Samsung Note touch not working !!!

my frnd bought a note just a month back n its screen is not responding in one corner .she went to service centre but they are refusing to replace it n just want to repair it . i feel its a bad piece as less than month old n screen not working . i would like a replacement /refund . any way to do it , need suggestions guys

Go to another Gallery with the bill? (Maybe the people in that gallery are shady guys )
Is it some kind of hardware damage? (Phone dropped or something cracked), water damage or rooting and installing custom rom?
if so they won't replace it as those things void the warranty.

If you haven't voided the warranty, call the sammy customer care.
I'm not sure about you, but I have good relations with the guy I purchase phones from, I usually give the bill and phone to him who gets it replaced/repaired for me
