Storage Solutions SAS Drives in India

I have a client who needs a couple of SAS drives. Looking at mainly a 2.5" forma factor and 300GB capacity per drive. I found that seagate has such drives in their Savvio range but unable to get a hold on anyone who sells them. Anyone have any clue ? Also any other brand options ?

You can contact SMC here at TE, i think they deal in Savvio range !!

iirc they are available through HP, Dell etc

^^ available from HP but 30k for a single 2.5" 300Gb SAS 10K Hdd.

Ohh. They are so expensive ? I need around 10 of them Need to confirm whether these are the drives or not.

SAS drives are always expensive bro. Even the 146GB Version will set you back by around 12-13k. And these are the prices of the Savvio range that you mentioned in the first post !
