for changing to bridge mode, just open ur router page
http://192.168.1.1 and click on WAN on the left side panel of "Home"...in "WAN Setting" select bridge mode...press "Apply"...then go to "Tools" and then "System" and "Save and Reboot"...after reboot you're in bridge mode...
now u need the dialer to dial...for that
Goto Network connections in Ctrl panel >> Create a new connection >> connect to the internet >> setup my connection manually >> connect using broadband connection that requires username & password >> Put in the ISP name ie MTNL >> put in ur username and password >> add a shrtcut (will make it easy to find after setting up the connex.)
now to automate the process, open notepad and type
rasdial MTNL <username> <pwd>
save it as "Connect.bat"
double click on it and see if it's connecting properly...
make another bat file for disconnection...in that type
rasdial MTNL /DISCONNECT
run it and see if it's working...
now use the bios alarm to wake your system at say 1:50 AM..
schedule your apps... which ever oyu use to download.. i use flashget and bit comet
. scheduled them to start..(in the advanced options for each scheduled task chk box "run when logged in") so that the scheduled tasks would run without any probs
