Monitors Screen mirroring using Chromecast

Have anyone tried screen mirroring using Chromecast? I want to use my HDTV as a big screen for my tablet through wireless using Chromecast. I want to mirror my screen entirely. I think Chromecast does this under beta version. Want to know if anyone tried this. Or else I need to purchase Microsoft wireless HDMI display adapter from USA. Here it costs 6.5k

I use my Chromecast for this all the time. You can screen cast as long as you have Android 4.4.2 or higher and a decent processor/network combo. I use a Nexus 7 2012 (crap) and a Redmi 1S. Significant slowdown while mirroring but a slightly powerful phone will have no problem with this.
