The Scythe Yasya has been released and initial reports suggests it almost matches a pimped up Noctua NH-D14(i.e. with the 120mm+140mm Noctua fans) while on its stock fan.
I'm not sure you can get more out of it though because the stock fan itself is a very good one,a 120mm Scythe Slip Stream one but the good news is we have something to match the Noctua minus its size :D
There is also the VenomousX but the more the merrier.

Im not buying this coz for removing the cooler just to change the tim i have to remove the mobo...Which alll of the coolers i have owned uptil now have allowed by just removing 2 screws...Rest all is good :)

^^

Did it not seem like a bolt down...or is it a push pin on a special mounting bracket. I could not make out, reading the link.

^Pardon my ignorance but what is an og intel heatsink? Were you referring to *the* Intel stock heatsinks supplied with the processors? And you found this tower type heatsink to be similar with that? :S

The mounting mechanism is the push-pin type. A bad one at that. Better off with something else.

^In which case you are supposed to quote the previous post. u_u

When you say a blank statement like "It is just like the og intel heatsink" do you expect others to read your mind?

why the tensions? :S
he's just replying to a question that was asked of him..
and for pretty much every one else other than you, OG Intel Heatsink refers to the original Intel heatsink :bleh:

Its a bit of a disappointment though because they were planning to release it as an all copper sink but ended up using aluminum for the most part with just the heat pipes made of copper.

They've made use of only the stock fan, either using it to intake cool air or to exhaust hot air.

Would adding another fan make this better?

Have asked for a review unit of this :) So lets see. Pricing info i have recd. already, somewhere around 3-3.2k mostly.

Yes. It includes a Slipstream 120mm with a PCIE PWM fan Controller.
