Storage Solutions Seagate Freeagent - Access Denied!!!

Guys,

I own a Seagate Freeagent 500GB external HDD & running Win-XP.

Today by mistake I moved a folder into what looks like the HDD's system folder(its hidden & the folder name is just numbers).

The problem is I'm not able to move my folder out of the system folder. Even tried doing this in Safe Mode but got Access Denied.

Have any of you encountered this? Any workaround?

Try formatting it after copying ur data...use some third part application to format it

Can u elaborate the actions u 've done ! which folder , which drive , which partition !

Right click on that folder and take full permissions on your login account name. then you should be able to move it out.

I don`t think there is any system folder in XP with only numbers. Anyway use unlocker to see which process is using this folder. Also post the folder name and its complete address
