Sorry I m unaware abt banik, vnerd deal. and I dont wanna knows also what happened, tell me whats current situation ?? getting replacement from XFX ??
 
I'm curious about one thing. A lot of people are talking about insuring the package. Has anyone actually had success in claiming insurance from these courier companies in case the item is damaged?

If so, was there any hassle and how much of claimed amount was actually reimbursed? Please post your experiences if any.

Electronics Items cannot be claimed for damages even if there is insurance. For lost courier you can claim insurance, but even for that there is a maximum amount that you can claim for.
 
few points from ME ...

  1. Seller must send the pics of the packing to buyer before sending the package
  2. views from all side should be covered
  3. Only when buyers is satisfied from pics send buy seller ,seller should send the package
  4. Also the pics of the product before and after packing must be send to buyer
  5. This will help both seller and buyer to have evidence .
  6. In market seller must clearly mention in thread regarding the options of shipping with /without Insurance.

I think few options from my side could help some in TE to carryout safe deal in future..

tat wud really make it horrible to trade @ market sections.
the current rules are good enough...

as far as i am concerned i deal with only trusted members..
not that THEBANIK is not bankable... mishaps happen.

good there was funky to the rescue.. nahi toh Vnerd wud be the one to suffer
