@FreakyChokra - I've sold and bought more than 200+ items over the years on forums. We were trading on this forum when not everyone was available on phone. Hell, we didn't even used to ask for the contact details during the early days and all the communication was via forum only.
The seller has clearly shown you proof that he did send a picture of the PSU on 3rd August. I don't know about your experience on buying and selling online/forums but if he shipped it out on the 4th, then it is pretty good in my books. Also, you need to realize that this isn't a full time job for people selling stuff over here and they might have other jobs/commitments which would impair their ability to be in constant touch whether via phone or forum.
If you received the product in 'as described' condition and it was shipped within 48hrs of receiving payment, then I really don't see an issue over here.
Yes, one should be vigilant so that they don't get defrauded but only after giving ample time for the seller to make good on his word.
Yes, most people are generally more proactive in communication when selling a product and might seem a bit lax after selling the product, but I really feel you jumped the gun over here by not even waiting for 48hrs for you to receive shipping details.
If this feels too much to you, then you would be better off purchasing via OLX where you can inspect the product properly and then get it in your hands as soon as you have paid the seller.
I request both of you to kindly get over this as it will not bode too well for either of you or for this forum.
