Setting up VPS for multiple websites on Digital Ocean

Need to setup my server on digital ocean 5$ server with multiple websites on it and preferably something like Cpanel?

Is there a clear guide on the same, including a simple panel, security and monitoring part?

There will be one wordpress site and rest will be static sites.

I dont want to go for Cpanel. 5$server and 15$panel. lol

I was looking at Vesta Panel which looks pretty decent -> http://vestacp.com https://www.digitalocean.com/commun...stall-vesta-control-panel-on-ubuntu-12-04-lts I really liked the panel. Its simple and its effective for what I want to do. The server will have a few very low traffic wordpress sites and quite a few static ones. Won't be utilizing even 5% of the allocated traffic.

How would you recommend making the security better for this. I really don't want the server getting hacked randomly.
 
It will be fine on 512mb.

Usually I don't use such GUI tools, get my work done with commands only. However I have tried Server Pilot when they were new. Its really good. Only drawback is it requires fresh VPS.

Will it host multiple websites too? I think i'l give it a try. Bloody Digital ocean doesnt accept SBI debit card and neither does paypal. :O

Have you tried Vesta Panel too?
 
^yes, you can have multiple sites.

yes, I also tried Vesta Panel. When i was low on money and/or had no credit card for premium hosting. Vesta Panel sucks.
