Hello,

First building a PC after almost 2 decades. I've always used laptops so have very little idea experience PC building other than watching people on YouTube do it, especially regarding after sales support, warranty and RMA stuff. Every bit of advice is welcome.

Plan is to build the PC in a Fractal Ridge case. It seems small enough that it can be easily moved from my room to the living room to plug into the TV. The max GPU size in the fractal ridge is 335mm x 151mm x 82mm.
  1. What is your budget?
    • 230 k ( 110K for GPU and 120k for the rest )
  2. What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
    • None. Completely new build.
  3. Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
    • 2tb Samsung 980 Pro SSD
  4. Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
    • Motherboard - MSI MPG B650I Edge Wi-Fi Motherboard
    • CPU - AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
    • GPU - Was looking at the Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX, simply because of the 24GB VRAM, but I don't really like any cards of the gen. Am open to used cards, but have no clue where to look. Initial plan was to use the 4k TV for gaming, but I'm thinking getting a used GPU for 1440p till next gen GPUs come out.
    • PSU - Corsair SF850L SFX SMPS. Should be enough, or Corsair has a 1000W SFX PSU as well.
    • RAM - 2x16GB LP memory. I was looking at Patriot Memory and TeamGroup 6000Mhz kits, which claim to support AMD Expo, but neither show up on the motherboard QVL list. What's up with that ? Only other LP option seems to be a G. Skill kit, but those are almost quite a bit more expensive.Recommendations welcome.
    • Air Cooler - Low Profile Coolers with max height of 70mm. ID cooling IS-55 and the Thermalright AXP-120 seem the best performing LP coolers, but neither are availble online. Will they be available offline, say in lamington road ?
    • Monitor - Looking for 32"+ 1440p monitor recommendations. Was looking at the LG 34WQ60C and Gigabyte G32QC/G32QC-A, but the latter seems to be out of stock online.
    • 2.5" SATA Storage - 2TB Crucial MX500 seems to be the best balance between price and performance. Any other recommendations ?
    • Keyboard - Looking for a wireless keyboard with a trackpad. Something like the Logitech K400/K830 but with a numpad.
  5. Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • Yes. May upgrade the GPU later if I get one that isn't suitable for 4k.
  6. Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)
    • Mumbai
    • Open to online purchase
  7. What is your intended use for this PC/hardware
    • Gaming, Use for media center.
  8. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
    • Would prefer good after sales support and warranty.
  9. If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?
    • Flight Sim
    • BeamNG
    • Usual RPG stuff like Cyberpunk and GTA
  10. What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
    1. Gaming - 1440p/4K
    2. Media - 4k
  11. Are you looking to overclock?
    • Yes/No
  12. Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
    • Windows 10 64 bit

If used route taken, u can get rtx 3090 easily for half your budget....same for other parts and under warranty also.
I don't mind getting used if the price is right and product is in good condition. Other than the classified section here, what other places are reliable for used parts ?

I'm more concerned about RAM and a cooler that will properly fit.

Olx locally....strike a deal...always ask for bill and box and shud have serial no.....if whatsapp group of fb sale group then go via admin method.....always do a stress test for gpu along with vram test using OCCT.....for ram just check the height and clearance of cooler on specs page of cooler.

the best bang for buck is definetly going to be the NR200P MAX, but it looks averagish.. the a4 h2o is very tightly packed and is defintely different but it wont fit bigger cards than the FE variants.

your best bet is look at sff builds on reddits sffpc subreddit.

Thanks for the reply. Case, PSU and CPU are decided for the most part. I guess I'll ask in the SFF subreddit about the RAM clearance. I guess what I need to finalise is the cooler and monitor mainly.

The only listing for the coolers I mentioned (IS-55 and AXP-120) is Amazon ( 3rd party sellers) and ubuy. Does that mean these are not available in the indian market?

What case have you decided to go with?
I have NR200P Max running a 3090FE + 5950x + 32GB RAM (AR VR Design & Gaming)
I was thinking of upgrading to 4090FE or Asus Noctua 4080
Kinda not sure about will it fit in or not.
