PC Peripherals Should we mix RAMs of different frequency of same model and brand.

Should we mix RAMs of different frequency like 2400mhz and 3000mhz of same model and brand.
Afaik we shouldn't mix RAMs.
But i also know that higher frequency RAM will run at lower RAMs frequency.
So what should i do and if I'll mix them , Will there any problems.

No issues. Right now I'm using 3 different rams with different speeds and no issues. All rams will match to the lowest speeds.

Yes , that's why i was trying to buy 1 stick for dual channel benifits.

No, and you'd probably even get XMP working if they're rated at the same speeds. I have three different brands of 3200MHz memory in a single system and XMP works fine.

Nope no issues here. Running a 2x16GB 3000MhzC15 stick and 1x8GB 3200MhzC16 stick all with the same timings at 3333Mhzc16 at 1.37V. Absolutely no trouble. Even on my laptop I'm running a 8GB 2666 and 16GB 3200 stick, both running in dual channel (for first 16GB ) at 2666Mhz happily. Unless you are very unlucky, or your motherboard or IMC is very finicky, you should have no trouble at all. Good luck!

Fortunately i got a 2400mhz RAM from a fellow forum member. Btw I'm still on kabylake max frequency RAM support is 2400mhz. Was also getting offer for 3000mhz RAM.

(Probably dual channel for 32GB, rest 8GB single channel since benchmarks look the same as a dual channel 3200mhz 3600XT)

Aside from driving those with OCD nuts, it shouldn't hurt. Matching DIMMS have their advantages in terms of speeds and timings but hey, if it ain't hurting you and the extra GB helps, no harm done.

I am on the same team but this didn't hurt me much.

If I had only 2 slots, or 3 ram sticks, something asymmetric, maybe it would have driven me mad.
