I would highly recommend going through threads in team-bhp and would also ask you to shared those threads with your friends.

Skoda = garbage after sales service in India.
Infact they seem to regularly put fake spare parts in their customer's cars and sometimes even replace perfectly good working parts with fakes
Plus the model you are considering is a piece of crap - a 69bhp petrol engine in a car that weighs nearly 1100 kilos is gonna give you extremely poor acceleration and extremely poor FE.
In simple words - AVOID!!!!!
Buy an i20 or even better the Grand Punto 1.4 petrol. You'll get the latter with more bells and whistles with a 90bhp 1.4 for the same cost as the skoda.
