Monitors Slim Monitor Suggestion

I am planning to buy a new LED monitor for my laptop. My requirements are

(1) Ultra Slim

(2) Should not produce lot of heat

I have selected the following monitor

LG E2290

Is there any other monitor similar to that of the above LG?

I had checked Benq and all of them has a big power box on the back, which I feel will generate lot of heat if I use laptop continously.

Budget is not a problem. I am willing to pay for quality stuff.
 
being a benq g2420 user for almost a year now... i will suggest you to go for benq... it has good quality build... excellent performance... and trust me it dosent generate as much heat as you are expecting... i was a little out of budget that time so couldnt get an LED but as far as my experience is concern i will surely give 1+ to benq
 
have you checked the one from AOC, some months back, i bought one 19" for my girl, it super slim just 10mm (or something)
 
Go with Dell LED model in your budget super power saver - low on heat & low power counsumption... may be NOT slimmest like figure zero
