I am trying to procure refurbished parts for my home lab servers. Which software should I use to test each component
1. CPU
2. GPU
3. RAM
4. SSD/HDD
5. Motherboard
6. PSU
7. Monitor

Also, can you folks also give tips regarding this, like where to check first, scratches, bent pins, etc. ( on the hardware level )? Any tips would be appreciated.

1. CPU
Burnt marks due to OC, bent pins if its a pin proccy though I doubt you will use an old proccy.

2. GPU
Burnt marks on chips, vrams or bus lanes due to OC, leaked/blown capacitors, fans motion/spinning, cracks on board, loose ports, loose chips, transistors, vram/heatsink thermal pads and paste condition--dried or normal, carbon on display ports/chips/transistors/capacitors.

3. RAM
Thermal pads if it got one.

4. SSD/HDD
Dents, burnt marks on power ports, cracks on the port, broken pins, unusual rotating etc. sounds when powered-on.

5. Motherboard
Burnt marks due to OC on many areas of the mobo incl. but no ltd. to chips, bus lanes, leaked/blown capacitors, cracks on board, loose ports, loose chips, transistors,, bend board, missing/broken port pins, cmos battery socket condition, carbon on backpanel ports/chips/transistors/capacitors.

6. PSU
Power-good signal test, burnt marks on the connectors, melted wires/connectors, burnt smell from inside, low voltage on either of the rails or ports/connectors aka lacking pure voltage power.

7. Monitor
Lines on display, dis-colorization, abnormal bleed on edges/color shifting, dead pixels white spots, dull colors etc.
