Storage Solutions Solid State HDD OS boot time

Hi,

Probably folks who have experience with solid state HDDs can help me - Is the boot time for an OS like Win 7 significantly faster when run on a solid state HDD? If yes, how much is the difference?

Hey just go through this link. Hope you get good idea. Average is around 33 seconds for SSD.

Faster - yes. Significantly faster - doubtful. In my case, W7 Ultimate X64 boots to the desktop in 27 seconds from the moment I hear the beep from the motherboard speaker.

Yes, boot time for Win 7 will be faster when run on a SSD over HDD.
