Hi everyone,

When i opened my live account mail today, i saw a message delivery failure email. but i didn't send any email to anyone as i was working. so the mail got sent to couple of people. no one has access to my live account apart from me and also no one knows the password. my email ids and passwords were also not changed. the mail contained the following link.

Code:
http://e-nt.de/work.at.home.n.php?ID=013

It would be nice if some could tell me what is going on :(

Thanks,
UG

Yeah someone must have hacked into your account and sent the mail. Change the password ASAP!

yup just did that i changed my password do i need to do anything more?

Is there an option to send a mail to MS notifying them about the hack? I think Google has an option like that. Do send them a mail if there is an option to.

Happened with me for Gmail. And im a part of a few huge google groups so basically they got some 10-15k people :| And then everyone wanted me to know my account was hacked, so I had like 50 messages telling me that *facepalm*

Change password and remove unused authorized apps.

Please also try to send a mail to a non existent address and check if the message delivery failure mail acutally matches the one you got yesterday.
It could just be spam.

Some malware hack happened in your system /browser, violated your account.
Immediately change all your account passwords from another stable system, then clean your system.

Others who are using using Gmail, please enable 2-step authentication to prevent situations like this in the future -- http://www.google.com/landing/2step/. Secondly make sure your password recovery options are secure.

Even if someone manages to get your password, he/she won't be able to login. Its more like OTP (One time password) used for banking transactions.
