Sony AM/FM Clock Radio

Sony ICF-C218 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio (Black)

Sony ICF-C218 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio (Black)

Features

Sony AM/FM Clock Radio - White ( ICFC318 )
Always know what time it is. The ICF-C318 has a 0.9" green LED display, which is easily viewable from across the room, but takes up very little space on your nightstand. It hosts a number of features including dual alarm, extendable snooze bar, built-in calendar and full power memory back up.
ATS (Automatic Time Set)
The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock.
ADST (Automatic Daylight Savings Adjustment)
When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments.
No Power No Problem Alarm System
The pre-installed Lithium battery maintains clock and alarm operation in the event of a blackout or other power failure
AM/FM Analog Tuner
Choose from the wide variety of radio, talk and music programming.
Built-in Calendar
View the date and year on your clock radio.
Space Saving Appealing Design
Attractive, modern design compliments any decor.

Need 10+ orders to start a GO.

Guys, I do not want to put a dampener on the GO, but I would like to warn you all of a potential problem here.

When you buy a clock radio from the US (especially the cheapo ones), remember that these are made to work on 110v. The clocks being cheap use the 60hz cycle in the power supply to measure and calculate time. When we get this clock here and run it via a 110v-220v converter, the voltage is changed, but the cycle remains the same 50hz. So the clocks lose about a hour everyday. It is very frustrating and there is no solution to this !!!

So if you ever buy a clock radio from the US, get one that internally supports 110-240v and in this case, the clock itself adjusts the power cycles based on voltage. Otherwise, everyday when you wake up in the morning, the clock would have lost an hour.

I have two clock radios lying around in my house as paperweights. I did not know this and brought a second one again before knowledge dawned !
