Hello!

What would be the procedure for warranty/repair of A sony DRU-820A drive that I have?

I'm from chennai..

how long is the warranty? the drive was bought in 2006 :(
 
Isn't worth repairing the drive.

For a little more, you can buy something faster and more reliable.

1-1.3K is the range these days.
 
Mine Sony DRU 800A had 3 yrs. warranty, but it was purchased on 3-4 yrs. back.

Go with repair if cost Rs.100 or Rs.200

Now if you want to go with New, than go with LG

Thanks for the suggestions.. I'm pretty sure mine has only 1 year warranty.. says so on the drive :(

Where in chennai can I ask to get it checked?
