I own a Sony Vaio E series VPCEH25EN laptop bought in October 2011 for Rs. 31000 with following configuration

Intel Core i3-2330M Processor 2.20 GHz
2GB DDR3 RAM (665MHz according to CPUID)
320GB HDD
Nvidia GeForce 410M 512MB GPU.

There is no issue with this system and it is just running fine and now days I'm using Windows 8 and performance is even better.

I want to know how good is this laptop for next 2-3 more years? What upgrade can I do on it to keep it up running smoothly for next 2-3 years?

My basic usage includes - Photoshop, Movies, Internet, Light Gaming, Misc basic work like office etc.

Apart from RAM upgrade I see no scope for anything to be upgraded. How good is this 410M Nvidia GPU?

Now if I want to upgrade my laptop's RAM then what size RAM will be fine? Also can I replace RAM myself or this job should be carried out by a technician?

Hi bluevolt,

Apart from your HDD and Ram, nothing else can be upgraded. You can upgrade your laptop's ram size upto 8GB. Its very easy to install ram in your laptop. You can do it yourself. GT410 is good enough for just watching HD movies, photoshop etc. Gaming would be very restricted, but on lowest settings possible.
