need more info to suggest. for example how big is the room, what is your budget range, hdmi ARC availability, etc

both the soundbar you linked will be just waste of money... not worth looking. in fact "budget" soundbar is just scam.
rest if you are budget, look for used HT system or 2.1 speaker like this https://obage.in/ht144.php

thanks for the suggestions. Actually, this one is for my Dad's bedroom. I have already placed an order for a Blaunkpunkt soundbar from Amazon but what you have suggested looks quite irresistible. Do you have personal experience with these speakers?

This was my first post here. I already have an account with Hifi vision. A friend of mine suggested this forum.
