Speedup Vista startup with processor tweak.

This will really help the dual and quad core people.

this is how it works:

Click start> Msconfig> Boot> advanced options> check the number of processors and select 'number of cores you have'

That's it, apply/save and reboot.

Apparently Vista by default, only uses one core...

I tried this and it DOES make a difference.

Should work in XP too, i guess.

Tried..doesn't make any difference.

Vista automatically identified and uses multiple cores (if available) at boot time and hence this is not needed.
