Hey folks,

Looking for a pair of good sounding speakers for my PC. Would prefer not to have a dedicated subwoofer as that would take up space and might not look great visually.

Budget is around 10k and can stretch up to 20k if they're really worth it.

I was thinking of ordering the MICCA RB 42 from flipkart but I'm very much open for options and hope to get some valuable inputs.

In this price range, for example, if I were to buy the RB 42, is a AMP necessary? Are there better speakers which don't require amp? If not, please suggest an AMP too. This will be my first AMP / DAC

Yes they are kinna low on bass, but I am sure with proper equaliser settings and all one caj compensate

Yes, these are passive speakers so you'll need an amp.

I would suggest you stick to powered bookshelf speakers in your budget. I have only tried JBL 104 speaker myself so can recommend them if you can get them for around 5-6k.

I too went with 104, due to aging Z906 not starting at all after repairing as well. Thanks for suggestions guys, OP as well as @veera_champ for helping with the purchase.

Get the edifier 1280db for 7.5k in croma or https://www.therevolverclub.com/products/edifier-r1280db here, they gor as low as 7.5k ! Good speakers for their price! if you ar using them for desktops presonus are quite flat sounding

Have heard of many bad experiences with Revolver club. Many have found them to repack open box pieces and resell them as new. Not sure how true.
