Hi all

Does it make sense to get a DVD+-RW from US? I mean does it make a price diffrence like in case of Digicams or not?

Any other stuff that may be cheaper there?

no man ur better off getting it here..unless its something which u dont get here like those pioneer dvd rw drives..cost difference is marginal...u could get a gfx,high end ram,portable hdd etc from there..quite a lot of difference in prices..

Yeah..i tht so. Don't really need a gfx as of now. Ram..well maybe. Don't a portable HDD as well. Maybe i will get a high capacity flash drive!

Any idea abt IPOD touch prices in India? I could get one!

14500 for the touch 8gb..around 12k in the states hmmm ur call..buy it from here since the first generation touch's had some weird screen problems..
 
Whenever u get anything from US, u will have warranty issues. So, if at all u want anything that's dat not available in India, then get it from there. Don't go just by the price.
 
It is generally not advisable to get things from the US depending on the nature of the product and your willingness to tolerate a product that offers no warranty and support.

In case of a DVDRW I personally would not recommend it as those are not that expensive in India.
