PC Peripherals suggest a fairly good PC in the range of 15-20K

For my bro. His old PC seems beyond repair and now he bugs me by using mine. He is a complete audiophile and plays or watches no games or movies on it.

The only things I want:-
A mobo(with graphics integrated)
A CPU(cheap but good)
Memory(512MB would be more than sufficient)
A very good sound card(this is the most important part)

I could have actually figured this out on my own except that I haven't the faintest clue about sound cards so I thought I'd just about ask advice for everthing else here.hyeah:

The sad part right now is that RAM prices are so high that'll take up a considerable portion of the budget. Id say wait for a while until they stabilize

Um, dont know if you might be interested, but im selling my current rig next week, its in very good shape, and comes with nvidia's soundstorm audio onboard which i think you might like..and the price will be nice

have a look at my complete rig..with the monitor ..and tell me if u r intrested..if u dont want the 6600gt (as u said u dnt need gfx card.)..u can leave it..!
