Graphic Cards suggest a GFX

hi folks, looking for suggestion got a graphics card to power an old PC with the following config;

Intel Core2Duo E4500
Intel D945GCCR MB
2GB DDR Ram @ 667Mhz
1TB HDD
400 watt PSU
Dell IN2020M (20")

Mainly into a lot of 720p movies, and games (CS, BF3, NFS, WOW, FIFA)

Budget: 5000 (flexi)(lower the better)(open to second deals also)

No plans of upgrade of this rig ATM, may be an overhaul in a year or so.

thnx for the early bird suggestion, but just wanted to know would an old ATI 5770 would ease any better or if i pull up and get a 6850 (an over splurge)?

the PSU would be a bottleneck for the safe operation.i suggest you look for low power consumption cards.an HD 7750 should be good but out of your budget. else 6670 DDR5 version if you could manage one.

Then try to find a HD5770 OR HD6770. They are the cards to have, you will be able to play most current title @medium detail on your DeLL 20" screen.

Much better, the HD6670 is a HTPC card with light gaming capability, the HD5770 was a mid-range class graphics card but due to age has become more affordable and slipped into the entry level scene.
