Suggest a Point-and-shoot camera

Hi folks

I'm going to Hong Kong and Macao for a trip next month and was wanting to buy a point-and-shoot camera among other things. My budget is 20k (INR), so please suggest me some models I could look into. I saw the Nikon Coolpix P-100, will it be a good buy?

P.S. I had posted a thread about buying a camera a few months back but I didn't as I ended up spending a whole lot on upgrading my PC... LOL! Now since I'm going to HKG, seems like a good idea to pick one up from there as I have heard prices are cheaper there when compared to the Indian market.

At your budget you ill You may try looking at them too.The canon EOS 1100 D with kit lens and the Nikon D3000 if you can find it in stores. Might be a better idea than point-and-shoots.

try Sony HX9V.. cam + pouch + memory card + extra batteries would cost you around 20 - 22k. ATB best for your purchase..
