Graphic Cards Suggest a solution

Hey guys

My computer doesnt even play CS properly. I am in dire need of a graphic card.
My config:

Processor:AMD Athlon 2800+(754 pin)
Mobo:ASUS K8V-MX (Biggest mistake of my life) with VIA chipset
Ram:512MB

This mobo has only agp8x & pci slots
I want to play some good high end games. Can anyone suggest me a way out??
How is the performance of agp cards??
How about geforce 7600gs??

& can anyone explain me the difference between gs & gt?

GS is a slower version of GT thats in 7600 series, anything below that is not worth mentioning.

Best solution is to get a 6600 GT used...

can u suggest me any place to get one??
 
6200 GT is hopeless, there are many 6600 GT on sale in the buy and sell section pick them up..

6800 GT will be more expensive...
