Suggest a Sony or Panasonic Full HD LCD for 32K - Urgent!!

Hi,
I am urgently looking for a Sony or Panasonic (strictly no other brand) Full HD LCD. My budget is around 32K (+ or - 2K). I will be mostly using this LCD for watching Tata Sky. Will appreciate any suggestions.

Within your budget, unfortunately there's none from Sony (the 32EX400 which is Full HD costs much above 34k unless you are going the grey market way). Not sure about Panasonic either but I'd bet my odds against it.

Why don't you try the Philips 32PFL5609 instead? That should be within your budget. And suits your requirement as well.

Btw, Philips is no inferior brand. Just in case. ;)
 
^There are plenty of models to choose from - Sony 32EX300 is a good bet. IINM, this display sports a AUO AMVA panel. (adder might know otherwise)

Should be well within your budget. Drop in at a Croma outlet and see the TV for yourself. In all probability, they should have a DTH service daisy-chained to all the LCDs put up for display. The reception at home should be slightly better than what you should be seeing at Croma.

SQ wise, I suppose LG should be better than Sony or any other brand for that matter (Not aware of any models in LG - other members could help.) Which probably explains why their PQ suffers big time. /sarcasm
