Suggest best RAM for Ryzen 3600 + MSI B550M-PRO-VDH-WIFI

I just bought the rig with
Ryzen 3600
MSI B550M-PRO-VDH-WIFI
Corsair CMK8GX4M1D3000C16 VENGEANCE® LPX 2 x 8GB
I setup XMP profile 1 in BIOS and in CPU-Z my RAM shows at 1499mhz (it showed 1066 before on Automatic Default)

I just want to get advise if this is a fine RAM for me or should I invest in 3200 14cl /3600 16cl kits that are highly touted these days. The Vendor also had 4400Mhz Gskill kits but I'm not sure if it is just the number or can you really hit that speed with RAM with my given CPU / Mobo.

My usage is mostly Professional Photoshop / Illustrator work, Virtual Machines (virtual box) and casual 4K Gaming (my son mostly). I'm not after overclocking and stability is very very important for my workstation. Still I'd like to buy the best RAM I can and squeeze out maximum performance with keeping things stable enough.

Please share your ideas / configs and suggest a good price/performance combo for RAM

Many thanks

3200 14cl /3600 16cl these are hard to find here and at higher prices they are not worth it.

If you have to, get 3600 c18 is easy to find at good price. Provided you are able to sell your current sticks.

Diff between your current and 3600 will be 2-3% in benches only.

I am using 16GB 3200 corsair lpx single channel on my Ryzen 3600 which I think provides similar perf to dual 3000 lpx which you currently own.

Can you share membench results inside the dram calculator?

1499 MHz means the ram is DDR4 3000. You won't gain much moving to 3200. Moving to 3600 might help but 16-16-16 ram at those frequencies isn't cheap. Also not all 3600 chips work at 3600 reliably.

I bought Gskill Ripjaws 3600 cl18 2x8GB for my Ryzen 3600 from the zoukart FB group (new with bill). Works like a charm.
