I was using Abylonsoft Shredder Advanced for the last one month.
It is a shareware program and the demo period has expired.
It had an option of shredding the free space in the drives i.e it scans the free space in the harddisk and replaces all the data in that freespace with zero's or with other junk data. By this method, it will make recovery of deleted files impossible. So, the files that you did not want anyone to see will forever be deleted.
Many a times, I have mistakenly Shift+Del a file and later realised that I should have had shredded that file instead.
This feature of the program made it possible to shred the deleted files.
My question: Is there any freeware program which has the same functionality?
