A 8600Gt for under 5K will be a gr8 deal....a new one costs around 6K here in bangalore....and is u have patience u could get it for a cheaper price in a months time......

What's your thoughts on the 7900 series compared to the 8600. I know its not apples to oranges. But considering that there is really no true DX10 game out yet, A cheap second hand 7900 might serve most people's needs.

8600GT is preferred over the 7900GS, but not for nething above the GS.
