Graphic Cards Suggest Graphics Card under 10K

I can add 1-2k...if required

^^ Not very worth upgrading to the HD 6870 from a HD 6850, very meagre upping of frame rates ~ 5-10 fps depending on the game, might as well over-clock HD 6850 and get the same performance for cheap.

Go for 6850 save some money and add another one in Xfire after 5 or 6 months that Would perform close to 95% of single cards available now.

If you are going for this make sure your Mobo has x16x8 or x16x16 or x8x8.
 
^^ Pointless to CrossFire 6 months down the lane, better would be to sell your graphic card at that time and get the next series mid-range card, lower power consumption better thermal characteristics and overall better frame rates and graphic quality.
 
^^ 6870 is still a better option, than the HD 5850 except if you compare their power consumption stats. Plus the improvements made in every generation of GPU families puts every card in their own league of performance, upon release the HD 6*** series had the best Anti-Aliasing scaling.

delta getting disappointing for grfx cards...they just hav the XFX 6850 and its 11.2k...others will arrive after a week only...

If it were the HD6870 TOXIC, I would have said grab it. But it isnt

The HD6870 price looks really really good, 11.4k compared to HD6850's 9.9k.

I think HD6870 is the better choice.

HD6850 absolutely thrashes the GTX550. Please do some researching before suggesting.
