Friend needs a lappie... Please suggest good one :

Budget - 42k

Minimum Requirements :

i5

1GB Graphics [tired of convincing him it's not about GB :|]

3GB Ram

15" inch screen [must]

Good battery back up

Brand preferred - NO ASUS.

Guys budget is strict & please provide ebay links only :eek:hyeah:

Acer 5755 has overheating issues, i've heard. that was the primary reason i didn't buy it. Secondly, its build quality isn't as good as 5830TG.

Regarding price, i checked your link and ebay prices seem to be very step. The i5 ver. is listed at 46k while i got it at 41K. 5000 is a big difference.
So i'll recommend you to check flipkart. It has lower prices that ebay. Secondly, i got mine from Chroma so i'd suggest you visit their outlet once to check prices. this model isn't available at Acer Mall or Vijay Sales, two places that i checked. I believe Chroma must be following a uniform price policy throughout the country.

Lastly, if the price difference between 5755 & 5830 is around 1000 or less, i'd suggest you to go with 5830 even if it is costlier..
