Laptops Suggest something to keep Laptop base cool

Please suggest some thing which will keep my laptop base cool. If that thing is portable even better, which will assist in carrying it around along with the laptop.

You will need a Laptop cooling pad. I myself never used one, but one of my friends had one from Belkin and it was pretty good at keeping the laptop cool. It was a portable one and worked through a USB port.

If u opt for using a laptop cooling pad like that from Belkin do remember that the battery of ur laptop will be finished faster since these are powered from the USB post.

To keep my laptop base cool i have done a simple stand i am still working on it it costed me just 400 Bucks ,will post the pics by tonight as i am at work right now ,the design is very simple i haven't attached any fans yet ,i have picked up two pieces of wood which are 3 inches high and placed a sheet metal which has holes on it ( i am not sure what do u call this sheet as ) , i am yet to paint the metal part and polish the wood,once i post the pics u might get an idea ,its keeping my very cool hyeah: as there is some gap btw the ground and the laptop ,but its heavy to carry around , i tried to pick up a laptop cooling pad ,but then i could n get the Zalmac NC 1000 cooler in India so dropped the plan and did one by my self. Will post the pics by morning

I saw a coolermaster cooling pad locally. around 1.3k i think :ashamed: not sure tho.

That coolermaster one is sad ,its just a piece of crap with some metal parts and a fan , esp the base models
