Monitors Suggestion for LCDs

Hey Guys,

I need ur suggestions to get me a new LCD for 7-8k.

My usage pattern:

1. Tatasky - 15%

2. DivX - 25%

3. Watch HD Movies - 20%

4. Gaming - 40% (Usually everything at max)

I have been on a 4:3 LCD since 2.5 yrs, so would also appreciate nputs regarding whether my gaming experience would be squeezed resulting in fatty characters or would be just normal?

I have a 9600GT Seriously overclocked edition. But still it is not that powerful, so i think i would be safe in 19" - 20".

Plz suggest me some which would be having a decent resolution for gaming as well as movies.

Took a look at the Dell 19" Ultrasharp, the availability and price of which if someone could tell, dat would be great.

Also, Samsung 2033SW which comes at some 800 more than my budget but is it worth it. also res is 1600x900????

Also, there are some 16:9 and 16:10 panels. Which would be better???

So, just throw some models which would be gud enuf for my card and requirements...

Dats what i am confused. Samsung was my first preference but it is 16:9, so heaven for movies and the Dell is 16:10 so good for all.

BTW, don't games support 16:9 well or is it like they look better in 16:10?

Apart from this 2 monitors, are there any other ones which are really good?
 
Well, i got a mixed bag of opinions everywhere...

Some say, Games work in 16:9 but 16:10 is still preferred in Games for the extra vertical space.
Some say movies work in 16:9 better but since now the movies come in a lot of thetrical ratios like some 1:23:1 etc, black borders are also in a 16:9 as in 16:10.

Can someone clarify who are using wide screens and gaming or watching HD movies...
