CPU/Mobo Suggestion- New PC

Hey fellas,
I'm planning to buy a new PC.
Budget 30-32K
Will be using it for Gaming,Sound recording (Nuendo,Cubase etc),Graphic Designing.
I have and old P-4 1.8 Ghz system right now with a 6600GT.
I am looking for performance and Stability and I won't be overclocking it.
So far the configs I've shortlisted is E7500 and INTEL G41(DG41RQ) MoBo
and Q8400 with Intel P35(DP35DP).
I have very little idea about the boards available by other manufacturers but my
experience with Gigabyte chipset is a bad one.I don't know how they perform now so I am open to suggestions.
I am NOT biased towards intel systems, its just that I haven't used any AMD system till now.
and about the GPU, I think either GTS 250 or HD4850 would fit in the budget. Also I need to know which PSU would be able to cater them.
This is what I suppose will be right for my needs but I would like your suggestions too.
Looking forward for your suggestions.
Thanks :)

It does exceed your budget by 2.5-3k. This is the best bet for a mid-range gaming system. The AMD offers great value for money and upgrade path.:) Dont go the intel for a mid-range gaming PC as the LGA 775 sockets have no upgrade path. If you cant extend your budget i suggest two options.
i) Go for a good 780G mobo and save 1k.
ii) Go for the palit 9800GT for and save 1k(not much of a performance loss from the HD 4850).
So this way you can bring down the PC cost to 32.5k:clap:

@shikhar

if you really can't extend you budget from 32k, then replace the 790G based mobo with a Biostar 785G based mobo. And get Corsair xms2 2GB instead of Transcend 4GB. Later you can either upgrade your RAM by just adding another 2GB stick or (selling mobo+RAM and getting AM3 mobo+DDR3 RAM)
