Forum Feedback Suggestion on dealer availibility

I would like to propose a request that the moderators enforce a requirement on dealers who have ongoing GOs etc. to provide a clear update about their availability.

They are here to do transactions of a commercial nature and their absence without proper intimation of the same amounts to serious disregard for their customers and could cause a lot of concern esp. in the case of payments made and items not as yet received.

Of course, the onus to provide an update on their status would lie with the dealer itself but a clear directive(post) on this should probably be sent out by the moderators.

We do have a sticky thread on the same : http://www.techenclave.com/dealers-paradise/dealer-status-thread-142603.html . So far most dealers seem to be voluntarily co-operating in helping keep their status up-to-date. However, we'll update all the dealers to make sure they are aware of the thread.

If in case there is more you wanted us to implement (and if i overlooked it from your post), then do let us know. Also, please feel free to mention if you've had any trouble with a particular dealer due to his non-availability.

It would be nicer if the dealer status can be updated on his profile page/avtaar/signature/title. Would be more noticeable than a thread.
