Suggestion|| Voltage Stabilizer for TV

Inspite of tv companies claiming stabilizer free operation, some people prefer to use them.
Are there any advantages in using these for tv.
For ex, i have ordered a 43 inch samsung this sale
I have personally known 2 people whose tv developed those purple lines on the panel ,all over a span of 3 to 5 years.
This has made me a bit cautious.

Also, what brands are good?
I see vguard, everest,nextron and microtek.
Seems like only vguard is spending on marketing

Even my 6 years old TV has gotten one vertical purple line in the center, doesn't mean it was due to voltage fluctuation. More likely some component inside caused it after such long usage (it was used as a primary display for my PC before I bought a monitor).

If you worry about voltage fluctuations then install a mainline voltage stabilizer so your whole house is covered and you don't need to install stabilizer for each heavy/delicate appliance in your house (like ACs, Fridge, TVs, PCs etc). This will cost a bit more your typical stabilizer though so that's a downside.
