The cheapest DX11 card is 10 K alone aprrox right now.. and combine that with a 24 inch monitor and thats 50 % of your budget only just these 2 things.. Also a decent sound card for recording is not going to be cheap. atleast 7-10k + if you want any kind of quality.

also the only cards to be DX 11 compatible are the ATi 5xxx Series cards.

No other cards support dx11 at the moment. Nvidia's DX11 cards will be out in a few months.

hope this clears things out. :)

DX 11 is not mature yet and will take time

ATI 4870 1GB will be sufficient for you

Yes, you are correct... then i would prefer to increase my budget by 10k. Recently i was looking at dell studio XPS 8000 desktop. Its just 65k inc. of taxes, would it be better or this assembled one??

Cpu - Core i5 750 - 10k
Mobo - Intel DP55WB - 5.7k
Ram - Transcend 2x2gb 1333mhz ddr3 - 5.2k
HDD - Seagate 500gb - 2.3k

This rig will be far better off

DIY baby :)

for desktops assembled is the way to go for sure..

what kind of audio apps are you looking to run ?

i say increase the budget like you said, that should get you everything you need including a sound card hopefully.. im pretty sure for 65K you will get a much better config + soundcard if you DIY :)

hope this helped :)

P.S

+1 to the i5 setup above :)

exactly what i would picked apart from the soundcard .. that i would still say get a maudio card that fits your budget..

cheers sir !!

Graphics card - Palit GTX260 Sonic: 10.5k or GTS 250 : 7k
Cabinet - Cooler Master Elite 334 - 2.1k

Sound Card - M-Audio Audiophile 192: 9k-11k

Reason I picked GTS260/GTS250 is that PhysX is going to play a bigger part than DX11 in next few months. And most of the DX11 cards are overpriced. They are not worth for the price (except HD5850).

Also, it is better for you invest in good audio card like M-Audio's if you need the rig for audio making. Look for M-Audio cards. If you live in Bangalore, Golcha in SP Road is a dealer for M-Audio products.
