Suggestions to choose a 65-75'' LED (Budget 400k max)

Hello everyone,
I am on a hunt for the best TV within the price range of 400k.

My Current TV is a LG 55LW5700.

My Viewing Distance is 11ft.

My Ambience is bright because I feel claustrophobic in the dark.

My Requirements:
  1. Huge Size (65" atleast)
  2. No Backlight Bleed
  3. 1080p Resolution
  4. 2D Bluray Movies
  5. Gaming
After a lot of research I have narrowed down to two models:
  1. Samsung UA65F8000
  2. Samsung UA75F6400
I really want to buy the Samsung UA75F6400 but I don't know whether a Samsung 2013 6 Series will beat the picture quality of my 2011 LG LW5700 Series.

Is buying a better Series of a Brand extremely Important?

I really need help as I have gone mad thinking.

Save a LOT of cash and get the Samsung 64F8500 plasma.Comes at around 1.85lac
Eats LED TVs for breakfast.You will not regret...........

I know plasmas rock but the tension of getting burn in & the heat addition (in a already hot room) + the electricity bill is not worth it in my opinion.

That is just a common misconception,new generations plasmas have no burn in whatsoever,there is only temporary IR that too happens only if you watch the same channel for like more than 4 hours continuously.It goes away in an hour or so if you switch the channel.There is not that much heat too,where are you getting your facts from???Electricity also is like only 25% more than an LED.The cost difference more than makes up for it.I own the 64E8000
So in the end you are getting breathtaking picture quality and also an 8 series for almost half the price of a 7 series LED.So I guess the slight risk is worth it.

I might be wrong about burn in but the 64F8500 shows 665w (100%+ more) on the Samsung site whereas the 75F6400 shows 309w so scientifically it will heat more right?

Those figures are for a totally white screen. Anyhow, if you are planning to use your computer for long periods of time you will have to take a few precautions but those are nothing compared to the money you will save.
Plus IIRC plasmas are known to be better for gaming and watching sports. This was one of the reasons I went with a plasma myself and got the Samsung PS51F5500 around 3 weeks ago. If you wanna go for LED, I would suggest you to take a look at the Sony W950 series as it is known for excellent color reproduction.

It lacks micro-dimming from what I remember when I was researching TVs. Well I saw your post at HFV and it seems that you don't want to settle for anything less than 75". That limits your choices and if you aren't gunning for truer blacks then the F6400 is a good enough choice.

F6400 & F6800 have micro dimming
7 series has micro dimming pro
8 series has micro dimming ultimate
I just wanna beat my 2011 LW5700[DOUBLEPOST=1379186001][/DOUBLEPOST]Will F8000 be vastly different?
 
My med equipment heat & so does a plasma so that's a issue.
Also I have 66" by 38" viewable space on my wall so a pj is too big.
Got a big discount on the Samsung 75" with a tab 3 7" t2100 free so Ordered the Samsung UA75F6400AR.
Receiving it on Friday.

OPINION ALERT: My brother owns a Panasonic Plasma TV (not sure of the model number): but the picture quality is absolutely jaw-droppingly amazing! The blacks are really deep and viewing movies on it is quite literally like a trip to the cinema theater. It's that good!

OPINION ALERT: Larger Size causes more immersion.
 
@Udit Now that I remember, it is a 42-inch plasma TV. Looks much better than my 40-inch Sony LED TV.

I think it would be a good idea for you to roam showrooms and check out the picture quality for yourself. Do check out Panasonic Plasma TVs because the black levels are really amazing on them.

I wanted to Demo both but the problem is that firstly those models aren't on show anywhere & secondly I'm bedridden due to Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
