its really bad to find a very old member of our community doing this.

sumchamp has been recently opening quite a few threads in the hot deals and discussion section for a dealer we all know by the name of predatorvj.

same of the above threads can be found in the other forum with the same price etc.

isn't this more like breach of TE guidelines/rules ?

should sumchamp be banned ?

how to avoid such members who befriend rogue dealers and sell on their behalf ?

TE has to be more strict against such member ?

lets have a healthy discussion about this issue and specify a certain solutions which even the mods of TE would like to adopt, in case they already have not adopted already.

rogue dealers are getting real nasty now.

Someone else (say XXX) brings up deals and posts in the Hot Deals and Discussions section instead of the dealer paying some nominal charges to TE and putting up the deals in the Dealer section. Thus, the other guy - XXX is the proxy for the dealer. Just like how you call proxy attendances for your friends at college. :P
 
Just curious, if predatorvj becomes a regd. dealer in future, would everything be fine then ? Or are there any other allegations on him.
 
^True but the other dealers've registered here on TE. Are they idiots to do so? Doing this kinda work's pretty lame and not called for. TE servers dont run on charity you know! :|

Give me one reason why should he be exepmted from the dealer fees that all dealers are paying irrespective of the magnitude of the goodness of the deals they provide.
This is really shameful and SUmchamp being a senior member getting involved in this is really awful.
I feel some stringent measures must be taken to avoid this kind of BS in the future.

arre yaar registered dealers do full time n full fledged dealings here with lots of products.

he is not doing dat, if he's done that 2-3 times i guess that shud be ok, as he is not a full time dealer and just spending his time n energy to get good deals for us. dats it,,,,

if he wants to do dat regulary like others then he or his dealer shud get registered,

otherwise i m okay with the idea of 2-3 deals here n there...

no offences to anyone,

and neither sumchamp is personally know to me dat i wud defend him.

and many others like : dinesh malhotra , Vanishing Nerd, rockfella hace given nice deals to all here, much to the envy of regd delaers here... :P

so wat if he's done dat 1-2 times...

i personally dont find anything wrong..

neither have i traded with sumchamp or anyone here till now and my itrader rating =0
 
Guys I m not doing any proxy kinda thing with any dealer...I m getting from the same guy from where others r getting that why same prices u see...

one more thing did u guys tried to find out MSI GTX260 deal on any other forums which i was added in my thread.:cool2:
 
Rules are rules.

If bending/breaking of rules then action should be taken. Ignoring cases here and there can only lead to issues in the future.

PS- @OP What proof do you have of sumchamp's dealer being predatorvj?

@sumchamp what proof do you have that your dealer is NOT predatorvj?
 
personally when dealing with sumchamp, i found him very unethical and a liar,Once he told me to hold a GPU and that was for a long period, however when i PM about the deal he just went numb, did n't even bother to reply, ruining my sales, there must be some protection from such person.

Dude,
It doesn't matter how many trades a dealer does. Its not made compulsary for the dealer to do a full time business here, pay the fees and perform trades make profit and whatever.
And i dont think ,if predatorvj is backing sumchamp into masquerading as normal member doing the deals in HDnD section, should be doing it for the sake of helping the community,there has to be the profit making thing there which i find really unethical.

Ps: consider the allegations null and void if its proved by predator or sumchamp that they aren't involved in the conspiracy :)
 
^^ Nope, so you thinks the other dealer's are idiots for registering with TE. This was always going to be a problem, as it undercuts the registered dealers. Hope the mods take strong action, and ban the OP if this continues.
