Hey Guyz.....my COz wantz to get a new sys under 30K....with Gud 2.1Spkrs....pls suggest.....AMD or Intel????Heard Intel Zeon is gonna overtake AMD.....plz suggest.....n wat about dual core?????Also wanna know best VGA/Graphics Card n Monitor (Preferably LCD).....with UPS........All this under 30K.....Possible???Any Suggestions?????

Dude...u can go either for AMD64 based system or Intel core 2 duo rig...i suggest the core 2 duo...but watevr u do..plz don't go for intel pentium d....they suck big time....
With ur budget...if u go for 17' LCD...u'll have to compromise on some stuff say like a gud gfx card...it all depends on u dude...

Most lower range lcds have a response time of 12 ms... resulting in ghosting. Secondly, their colour reproduction cannot match that of a crt. So, if you want to go in for a crt, the basic 17" will cost you 4.7-5.2k... A flat crt ( for e.g LG Flatron ) will cost you around 6.5k..
Talking about newer technologies, my suggestion to let the hot product be introduced and simmer for a while...
A good lower range graphics card is 7300gt.. around 4.5k... Can overclock it and get good framerates...
PS:If you do stretch your budget, go for a gig of RAM.. And remember to buy two 512mb sticks instead of a single 1gb stick... Huge performance difference.. upto 15%...
